Sponsoring a purchase award is your opportunity to be among the first to shop the Paint Grand Traverse juried collection of paintings AND be a part of the Award Ceremony (awards announced at 5:15 before the Fresh Paint Party)! Show your support for the arts, and add original, high quality artwork to your home or business.
A purchase award is a pledge to buy artwork -- think of it like a down payment on your new favorite painting. You can choose from the following amounts: $500, $750, $1000 or $2500. Purchase award ticket holders have the first right to view and select artwork during the Purchase Awards Reception from 5:00-6:00pm on Saturday, June 27 . Then, stay for the Fresh Paint Party 6:00-8:00 as our guest! (You do not need to buy a separate ticket). Any unused purchase award credit is converted to a charitable donation.
Only 40 purchase awards are available! This is a fabulous opportunity for collectors who are certain they will want to buy a piece of PGT artwork!
How it Works:
1) Select a purchase award ticket for $550 (value applied towards purchase of a painting is $500), $750 (value applied towards purchase of a painting is $700), $1050 (value applied towards purchase of a painting is $1,000) or $2550 (value applied towards purchase of a painting is $2500)
2) Attend the Purchase Awards Reception on Saturday, June 27 and choose ("award") your favorite (1) painting.
- If the painting you select is priced lower than your purchase award amount, the difference* becomes a tax-deductible donation to Crooked Tree Arts Center.
- If the painting you select is priced higher than your purchase award amount, simply pay the difference.
3) Take your new piece home that evening, or collect it at the end of the exhibit.
Purchase Award Sponsorship perks include:
- Reservation for you and a guest at the Purchase Awards Reception on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 5:00-6:00pm.
- Be the first to see the entire collection and shop! Meet and mingle with the artists. Be our guests for the awards presentation at 5:30pm.
- After the Purchase Awards Reception, be our guest for the Fresh Paint Party from 6:00-8:00pm, and enjoy refreshmentsand live music Your admittance is included with your purchase award ticket.
*Prices for paintings start at $400, and sales benefit the artist and CTAC. If your purchase award sponsorship exceeds the price of the painting, the balance will support CTAC's year-round arts programming as a tax-deductible donation.
