Materials Included? Yes; students must bring a worn t-shirt that is a few sizes large to D.I.Y!

Description: T-Shirt “Surgery” is all about revamping, reconstructing, and upcycling old t-shirts you may not wear anymore or don’t fit, but you would like to give a new life! Each student must bring along a t-shirt that is slightly “too large”. During this workshop, you will transform your garment into something new, fresh, and uniquely stylized! This class will include accessorizing with fun beads and buttons, cutting and chopping fabric, light hand-stitching, and fun methods to D.I.Y your own clothes.

• All necessary supplies provided! Students must bring their own t-shirts to customize; must be in a size “too large”. Also helpful for students to bring with them a shirt they like that fits them the way they want to use as a reference!
• Students can optionally bring their own fabric scissors or other supplies to customize their shirts (ribbons, pom poms, fabric, buttons, etc.)
• Short lunch break included; students should pack a peanut-free lunch/snack, limited refrigerator space is available.
