In this six-session course, we’ll explore how nature, art, and the body can guide us through change and transformation. Drawing on the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether—we’ll learn to create sacred space for ourselves and others while honoring life’s transitions.

We’ll work with the Grief Wheel, a cross-cultural map for understanding change and resilience, and practice trauma-informed methods to support healing and wholeness. Each week includes a different art form to help us connect creatively with our experiences, our environment, and one another.

Schedule:

Session 1: Grounding and Honoring Our Experience of Change –  Getting to know each other, Resourcing Tools, & Agreements as well as an overview of the Grief Wheel and the course
Session 2:  East - Air balanced by Earth – Altar Creation & Weaving
Session 3: South - Fire balanced by Water – Attuned Mindful Movement
Session 4: West – Water balanced by Fire – Embodied Evolution through an Awareness of Deep Time
Session 5: North – Earth balanced by Air – Resonant Vocal Expression
Session 6: Center – Ethers – Honoring our Connections and Callings – Co-Creative Collaboration
