Students will draw inspiration from the powerful birds of prey found in Northern Michigan, such as the Northern saw whet owl, red-tailed hawk, and bald eagle. The class blends nature study and imagination, encouraging kids to deepen their appreciation for art and the spirit and strength of these incredible birds. This clas will include a live raptor presentation with North Sky Raptor!
What is Raptor Week? In partnership with North Sky Raptor, they will be coming in to present on the first day of every camp that week. Their presentation will include live raptor demonstration, bird education, and more! Every camp this week will include some project inspiration revolving around the raptors we learn about.
- All materials are included.
- A light snack is provided, but attendees can also bring along their own snacks. Please be mindful of allergens when bringing in snacks. We will offer a gluten free/nut free option each day.
