TC Summer Art Camp: Foraged & Found - Art from the Natural World (grades 3-5)

If a little toad winks as you pass by, this class is for you! Let nature be your guide figuratively and literally! We will explore the wabi-sabi beauty of nature by creating pigments, dyes, and paintbrushes.  We’ll spend our time outdoors, under trees and up in the branches.Artists will forage, whittle, and experiment with simple chemical reactions to transform leaves, soil, berries, and minerals into vibrant, one-of-a-kind art. Creativity that’s a little messy, wonderfully imperfect, and deeply connected to the natural world. 

• All materials are included; dress for exploring outside near CTAC
• A light snack is provided, but attendees can also bring along their own snacks. Please be mindful of allergens when bringing in snacks. We will offer a gluten free/nut free option each day.
