Plein Air Painting at Ahrens Gallery and Studio

This summer, Crooked Tree Arts Center is partnering with Ahrens Gallery and Studio to offer fun, low-pressure plein air painting sessions. Enjoy a morning of plein air painting with Amy Peterman. Bring your own supplies and choose any of the beautiful views to paint on the property of the Ahrens Gallery and Studio in Harbor Springs. Amy will give a short demo explaining her plein air process, and will be available for tips and critique throughout the morning. Some painting experience is recommended.

Parking, shade, shelter, and restrooms are available onsite. 

SUPPLIES
Experienced painters are encouraged to bring the materials of their choosing, including preferred paints, brushes, palette knives, paper towel, solvents or water, etc. Remember to bring sunscreen, a hat, and water to stay hydrated. Don't forget your easel! 

CTAC will have a basic set of supplies available for your use. 

WEATHER AND CANCELLATION POLICY
This session runs rain or shine and will only be canceled if lightning and thunder are present. If CTAC or AGS cancel the session due to unsafe weather conditions or low enrollment, registration fees will be refunded. There will be no refunds for attendee registrations.
