Scratching the Surface Sgraffito Workshop

Learn how to use sgraffito -- a process of carving and removing material to create textured designs -- in your own ceramic work. Approachable and fun, this pottery workshop will take place over two sessions. During the first session, you will carve premade plates. The following week, once the works have been fired, you will collect your finished piece and join the class for a wine reception, friendly critique, and pottery wheel demonstration. This course is great for beginners and those looking to add a new technique to their creative practice.
